Shop Floor Helper: Under minimal supervision, this position performs general warehouse work that may involve receipt of incoming material/product, using material moving/handling equipment to move spare parts and material to appropriate locations on shop floor and/or racking, and/or retrieving materials/product from warehouse locations to supply production operations or support customer shipment of company products. Manages material/product inventory storage space and/or reorganizes as needed to serve production floor needs and space efficiency. Transfers parts to inventory and disposes of scrap and/or obsolete inventory as directed. Handles and processes machining chips and scrap metal. Work may involve a variety of types of simple preventive and routine maintenance and repairs, including simple electrical, mechanical, plumbing, or carpentry work. Has knowledge of warehouse layout and the safe operation of material moving and handling equipment including 2-wheeler, lift truck, pallet jack, or motorized forklift. Skilled in reading company work orders and shipping documents and determining appropriate action from it.


Mechanical Assembler: Under minimal supervision, assembles mechanical parts or units, and positions, aligns, and fastens units to assemblies, subassemblies, or frames, using hand tools and power tools. Refers to blueprints and specifications to assemble, modify, rework, or reassemble parts/units. Installs helicoils, pem fasteners and rivets. Assembles parts/units to customer specifications and tolerances. Assignments are moderately complex.


CNC Set-Up/Operator: Under minimal supervision, this position sets up and operates CNC machine centers to fabricate metal parts. The CNC machinist loads parts in the machine, cycles machine and detects malfunctions in machine operations, such as worn or damaged cutting tools. The position runs production lots, communicates with co-workers regarding productions runs, and maintains a safe, organized and clean work environment.


Welder: Under minimal supervision, this position performs complex GMAW and GTAW welding on varied operations where considerable experience is required. Considers type and gauge of material to be welded and adjusts for proper heat. Places metal parts to be welded on fixtures, attaches jigs, clamps, etc. as needed to hold parts in proper position.
